A Vow to Light

In shadows deep, where hearts do weep,

A crisis lingers, vast and steep.

Each day we lose a precious soul,

To darkness that takes its toll.

Yet in our hands, we hold the light,

To pierce the dark, to end the night.

With every tear, with every cry,

We rise, we fight, we cannot lie.

The mothers mourn, the fathers grieve,

Their children lost, they can't believe.

But in their pain, a call to arms,

To heal the world, to end its harms.

So stand with me, let's make a vow,

To change the course, to act, and how.

For every life, for every name,

Let's stoke the fire, ignite the flame.

We'll build a world where hope can thrive,

Where love and care will keep alive,

The dreams of those we've lost too soon,

Beneath the sun, beneath the moon.

Together strong, we'll break the chain,

No more shall hearts be filled with pain.

For in our unity, we find,

The strength to heal, the strength to bind.

Rise up, dear souls, let voices roar,

For those we've lost, for those we adore.

With courage fierce and spirits high,

We'll fight for change, we will not die.
