In the fury of the night, thunder roared,
Lightning danced across the darkened sky,
Gladness fills my heart, for we moved rooms,
Escape the flood that would have made us cry.
Last night's storm, a wild tempest's call,

Puddles formed where once we laid our heads,
Bed and pillows soaked in rain's embrace,
Relief floods in as we escaped its spreads.
Weeks ago, a hint of rain foretold,
Room's frailty exposed by droplets' fall,
Adjustments made, we braved the storm,
Curtained porch shielded us from nature's thrall.
Mucho lluvia! The downpour's might,
Fourth time this year, they've faced its roar,
Yet amidst the chaos, a lagoon turned grand,
Video and photos, memories to adore.

Through storms and rains, we stand resilient,
Sharing tales of nature's fierce display,
Grateful for shelter, for safety found,
In the aftermath of night turned day.
