It’s a beautiful morning,

Sunlight through the trees,

Hope in our hands,

Democracy on the breeze.

We rose with courage,

We cast away fear,

We beat back the shadows

That crept too near.

With ballots, not bullets,

We built a wall of peace,

Fascism faltered—

Our unity won release.

But somewhere in silence,

A tantrum is thrown,

A man made of bluster

Now paces alone.

He smiles with no soul,

He shouts without grace,

He staged his perfection

With a frozen face.

We see through the mask,

Through the press-room play,

No love in the theatre

He marched out yesterday.

So stay in the sunlight,

Keep building with care,

Let justice and kindness

Fill the clean air.

It's a beautiful morning,

We’ve planted the seed—

Now nurture the future,

With thought, truth, and deed.
