No Kings Day
🌎 No Kings Day 🕊
by Tina Winterlik aka Zipolita
No kings, no crowns, no gilded lies,
No more rockets scraping skies—
Elon’s toys now fall like ash,
Tesla's tanks in a silent crash.
Salutes that echo old regimes,
History cracked at its toxic seams.
Space junk litters sacred night,
Polluting stars that once gave light.
Trump mutters myths in a haze of decay,
A king in his mind, but dementia holds sway.
Epstein's shadow still stains the wall—
Too many knew. Too many fall.
ICE cages rattle with cries unheard,
This week they pushed too far, we stirred.
Mothers screamed, Padillas shoved,
Fathers cuffed, rights unloved.
Where were the cameras? Censored again.
Erase the pain, recycle the sin.
But we remember. Oh yes—we post.
Obama’s grace, Kamala's ghost.
Bernie’s fire, burned too fast—
A kinder world, now just the past?
But we refuse to bow or break—
Our pens, our signs, the tools we take.
No more waiting. No more fear.
No more kings. The people are here.
We stand for children, for seniors too,
For parents dreaming something true.
Document everything—don’t let it fade.
They’ll try to rewrite what we made.
Anne Frank's diary, Mandela’s cell,
Dr. King’s dream—we must retell.
So snap that photo, post that sign,
Speak your truth, now’s the time.
History’s written in what we say—
This is the first true No Kings Day.
